One third of American high school students fail to graduate with their class. Communities In Schools is hugely successful in combating this problem nationwide, with 97% of the students they serve staying in school. The foundation of their success can be attributed to their site coordinators—dynamic individuals who corral community resources for at-risk kids, giving them the means to achieve. We developed a brand awareness campaign to bring attention to Communities In Schools and its mission, with a tribute to these everyday heroes. Beginning with a series of print magazine ads, the campaign expanded to other media outlets, including billboards and bus shelters.
