AARP sought to engage international thought leaders on policy matters and best practices that relate to aging populations. Levine & Associates was commissioned to help create a new publication, containing articles by economists, politicians, academics, and other important policymakers. The resulting periodical, The Journal, was designed to be both engaging and authoritative. Our design team works closely with AARP's editorial staff on each edition to develop a central theme, fresh visual concepts, feature illustrations, and information graphics.
As the audience grew, we designed an online version, complete with web exclusives and a full range of past and current content to reach an even wider pool of readers. AARP has credited our creative work with helping them to position The Journal as the premier publication on global aging issues. The Journal has attracted eminent contributors, including Madeleine Albright and Michael Bloomberg, and the ministers and commissioners of other nations. It is now distributed in 50 countries, and has been incorporated into the curricula at several prominent universities.
