Lauren Hassani / Designer

Lauren has 7 years of experience, during which she has worked extensively within the education and nonprofit sectors. Her projects include design for AARP International’s The Journal, fundraising materials for Children’s National Medical Center Foundation, and a groundbreaking publication by Georgetown University’s Center on Education and the Workforce. Before joining Levine & Associates, Lauren was at AED, creating designs for leading social marketing and behavior change practitioners on topics ranging from AIDS awareness to smoking cessation. She developed projects and materials for the Annie E. Casey Foundation, The Ford Foundation, World Bank, and USAID. In 2007, she worked on designs for a project that received a grant from the prestigious Sappi Ideas That Matter initiative, awarded to designers who conceive of creative solutions to benefit society. 

In addition to being a designer, Lauren is also a writer, crafting compelling copy for a range of projects both within the studio and for clients. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in writing from the Johns Hopkins University.
